Ending:  Section O3 - Rock Creek Bridge

Cookiemonster & I are camped on the wooden bridge spanning Rock Creek. That's right, we are camped directly on the bridge's 5-foot wide tread. With no level ground in sight & chilled from an early evening soak in the creek's waters, the bridge quickly became prime real estate.

The re-supply in Burney worked perfectly thanks to Cookiemonster's very generous parents. They met us at the state park with a carload of lunch fixins and then drove us into town for supplies.

No town stop would be complete without a visit to the local pizza place. Shared a large pie & a pitcher over good conversation. A great way to spend the afternoon.

Put in another 6 miles after getting back to the trail, which delivered us here, to the bridge. Maybe the slightly curved decking will help my sore back...
