Starting: Section C13 - Deep Creek Hot Springs
Ending:  Section C15 - Cleghorn Picnic Area

Awoke at 7:00 am to find Luke & Drew already in the hot springs and the bourbon flowing. They had decided to take the day off. Feeling well rested & wanting to see what was down the trail, I told them I would see them in Wrightwood & took off after Pete. I caught Pete in an hour & the 2 of us hiked the rest of the day together.

We covered 22 miles to the Cleghorn Picnic Area at Silverwood Lake. Craving a cold drink with no vending machines in sight, Pete left with $5 and a determined look and returned with 2 ice cold Pepsis he bought from the natives. Delicious.

Unable to find the campground, we stealth camped under some trees…
