Starting: Section C6 - Arrastre Camp
Ending: Section C7 - Big Bear
We were up early and practically ran the 10 miles to Highway 18. Took about 30 minutes before we got rides into town.
Once in Big Bear, we headed directly for the nearest pub, where we began to feast. Several pounds of greasy bar food & 4 pitchers of beer later, we all staggered to the Motel 6 where we split a couple of rooms…

| I accidentally left my camera in the backseat of the car during my 1st ever hitch. Luckily, the kind folks who gave me a ride, Mr. & Mrs. Gookin, were tracked down via the pct-l email list by the amazing Natalie and they sent my camera ahead to Big Bear. Thank you!
