Ending:  Section G7 - Cascade Locks

The Eagle Creek alternate route into Cascade Locks lived up to the hype. I would highly recommend it to future PCTers. The route follows a series of waterfalls culminating in Tunnel Falls, a waterfall you get to walk behind. The trail is literally blasted into the rock behind the falls. Amazing.

Saw my 1st elk on the way down to the alternate route. What a huge & elegant animal. How could anyone actually take pleasure in killing such a noble beast with bullet or arrow?

Got a room at the Inn before heading over to the Salmon Row pub for pizza & several pints. Found NaborJ, Chowder & Sweet Potato there doing the same.

Tomorrow, the notoriously long and arduous climb up & out of Cascade Locks...
